Anesu Kafesu
I’m a Junior Software Engineer with a strong focus on backend web development. I studied Software Engineering at African Leadership University, where I built a solid foundation in designing reliable, maintainable and testable systems.
My core skills include Node.js, Express, and TypeScript, with an emphasis on clean architecture and well-tested code. I enjoy working close to the problem domain, turning ideas into practical software. I used to blog at Geekflare, but now I occasionally write on my personal blog.
Some of previous work includes Cinnamon , a small programming language; Fourwalls, an AI-powered housing marketplace; Relay, a Shopify app for dropshippers; and Pennywise, a budgeting and expense-tracking backend with MCP support. You can view my full project catalog here.
